Noel Gallagher has finally said

It’s a return the nation has been waiting for 15 years.

Noel Gallagher has finally said “yes” to an iconic Oasis reunion, but fans should expect to see a big twist if the ’90s rockers reform.

The band’s lead singer, 54, revealed he was completely blown away by the quality of Abba Voyage’s London show, which uses avatars of the band.

Abba Voyage recreates the vision of Abba in his 1970s prime, playing hits such as Waterloo, Mamma Mia and Lay All Your Love On me.

And when asked about the possibility of an Oasis hologram show while speaking to Matt Morgan for his latest podcast, he said yes.

Noel said on the show: “I was really impressed to be honest, but yeah, if anyone wants to do an Oasis one, let us know.” He would be delighted by it.

“I’d say ‘great,’ I’d talk to that guy over there and then he’d come up with a number and then he’d pass it on to me and I’d say yes or no.”

His surprising comment comes just weeks after his brother Liam shut down any speculation that Oasis could reunite, after rumors emerged that the group were planning to get back together.

The singer, who appeared on the Jonathan Ross show in March, was quick to insist he hasn’t spoken to his brother Noel ‘for 10 years’.

Questioned by Jonathan about the old rumours, Liam quickly replied: “I haven’t spoken to him for about 10 years, I think 2009.”

Oasis, known for artists such as Wonderwall and She’s Electric, sensationally split in 2009 after a backstage row between the warring brothers.

Over the next 14 years, Liam and Noel traded bitter insults in interviews and on social media.

Last year, Liam posted a major hint about an Oasis reunion, approaching his older brother for a “hug” while declaring: “Oasis until I die.”

He wrote: “Listen, I love Rkid. He’s going through a lot of trouble right now and it’ll work itself out. He knows where I am if he needs a hug and hug Oasis until LG dies x.”

The cryptic message received more than 20,000 likes as fans began to get their hopes up for the dates of the long-awaited tour.

Liam was invited on the show alongside John Squire to talk about his new album, which will hit number one in the official charts this week.

Revealing how they came to work together, Liam explained: “At Knebworth, John came to play one of the songs at the end.

“So in pre-rehearsals, I hadn’t seen him in a long time, so I said, ‘What have you been doing?’ and he said, “I’ve been writing some songs.” I said, “Who sings them?” and he said, “Well, you are.” And I was going to have a year off and that, you know. What do I mean? So it’s his fault.

When asked who his first choice for songs was, Liam told John: “You were looking for a girl, weren’t you?” And then you ended up with this guy.’ John jokes: ‘Yes, I need a new address!’

Explaining why they wanted to work together, John said: “We know each other’s musical knowledge inside out, I knew we would always be on the same page.”
