A mother-of-eight who allegedly murdered and dismembered her husband after discovering he had been sending money to a secret girlfriend abroad was a director of a disability care provider.
Nirmeen Noufl, 53, allegedly cut up the body of Mamdouh Noufl, 62, using a saw and knives before disposing of his remains in plastic bags at various residential and industrial sites across Sydney’s south-west.

‘She was a very nice lady and very religious. “She lived here for over 20 years,” said a neighbor.

Noufl was arrested on Thursday at a Bankstown hospital where she was a patient and charged with murder (domestic violence).
He has been considered a flight risk because he had an apparent interest in moving to the Middle East before his arrest.
It is alleged that he had previously traveled to Egypt to sell property and was in the process of buying shares in the United Arab Emirates.
Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty told a press conference on Saturday that Greenacre’s home had undergone “significant cleaning” and parts of the floor were re-laid.
He described the death as “brutal”, “macabre” and “bizarre”.
“The remains have not been located and police doubt they will ever be located due to the nature in which they were disposed of,” Superintendent Doherty said.
He said police would allege that Noufl provided detectives with “several versions” of her husband’s whereabouts.
He allegedly told his children, friends and relatives that Mr Noufl had flown to Egypt to visit relatives, but no relatives were able to reach or locate him.

An investigation into the disappearance of Mamdouh Noufl began in July 2023 when police were called to a house on Juno Parade, in Greenacre, in Sydney’s west.
