Nintendo has announced the first new Switch Lite color since the console that was only portable last fall. The new shade is ‘coral’, perhaps inspired by Pantone’s decision to name ‘Living coral’ Color of the year for 2019. Or maybe Nintendo wants it out in time for the cherry blossom season.
Coral merges turquoise, gray and yellow in the regular arrangement. It will be available in Japan on March 20, with preorders starting on March 7. In particular, the launch of the new system does not seem to have been affected by the corona virus outbreak, in contrast to the upcoming Animal crossingTheme switch.
The Coral Switch Lite maintains the same price of 19,980 yen ($ 182).
