He is also an ambassador for Special Olympics Australia, an organization that supports children and adults with an intellectual disability.
It comes after Sunrise star Mark Beretta’s secret role in the Australian Defense Force was recently revealed.
The 56-year-old is part of the Army Reserves and in June received the Australian Defense Medal for his services.
Channel Seven shared a picture of Mark in his military uniform and with his stunning wife Rachel as he received the honour.

“Brilliant,” remarked a follower below. Another wrote: ‘Four years in the service well done!’
Mark first joined the Army Reserves back in 2019 and spoke about his role at Sunrise as Natalie Barr and David ‘Kochie’ Koch congratulated him on the medal.
‘Congratulations to you, it’s a big milestone. Four years in the Army Reserves, that’s great, Kochie said.
