Nikki Glaser revealed a joke she left out of her set at Tom Brady’s roast on Sunday, which alluded to a controversy involving Brady kissing her son Jack in the 2018 Facebook Watch documentary Tom vs Time.
The Cincinnati, Ohio-born actress and comedian, 39, appeared on The Howard Stern Show on Monday, where she told Stern that she and the other comedians who took the stage at Sunday’s event agreed to leave her three children. Brady off his sets.
“We all collectively decided not to involve their kids too much in anything,” he said, “because they didn’t ask for it.”
Brady is the father of his son Jack, 16, with his ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan; and his son Benjamin, 14, and his daughter Vivian, 11, with his ex-wife, supermodel Gisele Bündchen, 43.
Glaser told Stern, 70, about the omitted joke: “I couldn’t say, ‘Tom, I hope we can understand the after-party; “You can pretend I’m your son,” causing the radio icon to laugh.

Best Roast of All Time: Tom Brady, which was part of the Netflix Is a Joke Fest, was broadcast live, which Netflix touted as the first roast to be broadcast live, unedited. The festivities were held at the Kia Forum of Los Angeles in Inglewood.
Glaser said the joke was a “reference to him kissing his son” in the 2018 document.
She shared her own perspective on the situation and said she doesn’t believe the NFL icon did anything wrong in the situation.
“My father kissed me on the lips when I was a child and throughout my entire adulthood, so I really identified with that and never judged him in any way,” Glaser said. “Other than that, I thought it was a nice moment that we all took too seriously.”
Glaser continued: “But yeah, there were things like that; we all agreed, ‘Let’s not throw the kids under the bus,’ even though I did it here.”
Glaser said that time constraints also led to material not being used in his set, as well as material that was not up to par, out of the ordinary, or similar to what others were doing.
“Either it just wasn’t as loud as others or it hit something that maybe someone else was touching,” Glaser said. “Or that you’ll see that some of them are just soft.”
