Nikki Garcia’s twin sister, Brie Garcia, posted a cryptic post about “lies” on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday.
The message comes just a day after domestic violence charges against Artem Chigvintsev were dropped, prompting the Dancing With The Stars pro, 42, to break his silence on his arrest in a statement on Wednesday.
Earlier this month, Nikki, 40, filed for divorce from Artem, after nearly two years of marriage and following his arrest on suspicion of felony domestic violence in Napa, California, on August 29.
Brie’s last post read: “The truth always comes out in the end, no matter how hard someone tries to hide it or prevent it. Lies are just a temporary delay of the inevitable.”
At the bottom, the post was credited to a Facebook group called Facebook Resource Page for Mothers with Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

Earlier this month, a source told Entertainment Tonight that Brie had “encouraged” her sister Nikki to leave Artem after his arrest.
‘Brie encouraged Nikki to leave the marriage. Violence of any kind is not tolerated and they were very concerned about Nikki and their son.’
At the time, the source added that the former couple “didn’t live under the same roof” and that last month’s incident left Nikki feeling “scared and nervous.”
An independent source also told DailyMail.com just days after the arrest that “Nikki’s sister Brie is disgusted, shocked, disappointed and just plain sad about what happened.”
“She loves Artem and this is beyond the control of anyone she knows. Brie is very concerned about all of this and is there for her sister no matter what.”
The source continued: ‘Brie, who is obviously the closest to Nikki, as anyone would be, is telling her to leave Artem, if this is as bad as it seems, and if it happened before, once she finds out everything that happened, she will be the first to tell Nikki to leave him.’
“One thing Nikki never showed was the verbal issues she had with Artem. They didn’t treat each other very well and never developed a friendship.”
The source said: “Their only interest has been their son and not each other. That led to arguments, but as far as anyone knows, it never got physical.”

Also on Wednesday, Chigvintsev broke his silence on his arrest that took place almost a month earlier.
The Russian-born dancer issued a statement, a day after prosecutors declined to press charges against him.
“I feel incredibly relieved and grateful that the domestic violence charges against me have been dropped,” he said. People.

His attorney, Ilona Antonyan, went on to note that her client is focused on “negotiating a 50/50 shared custody schedule.”
Since Garcia filed for divorce last month, she has “been able to spend time with Matteo almost every day since the incident on 8/29/2024.”
Antonyan went on to describe Chigvintsev as a “very dedicated, interactive, caring and loving father.”

On Tuesday, Napa County District Attorney Allison Haley announced that her office has declined to file criminal charges against Chigvintsev in connection with his Aug. 29 arrest on suspicion of felony domestic violence.
The decision not to file charges against Chigvintsev was made after a thorough review of the criminal investigation and a careful evaluation of the evidence presented to the prosecution, officials said.
“While we take every arrest seriously and strongly oppose domestic violence, we have an ethical obligation to pursue charges only when supported by evidence,” Haley said in a statement obtained by DailyMail.com.
Haley said: “We are required to prove each and every criminal charge ‘beyond a reasonable doubt,’ which is the highest standard in the American criminal justice system. If the available evidence does not meet that level of proof, then we cannot ethically bring charges.”
Domestic violence can be filed as a felony or a misdemeanor and has a statute of limitations of three or one year, respectively.
Chigvintsev concluded his statement by saying: “I look forward to putting this chapter behind me and focusing on what really matters: continuing to be the best father I can be.”

Earlier this month, the Dancing With The Stars pro cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split in her own divorce filing.
He said the date of separation was August 29, the same day he was arrested on felony domestic violence charges following the alleged altercation at his home in Napa, California.
Chigvintsev has also requested joint legal and physical custody of his four-year-old son, Matteo, whom he shares with Nikki. The Russian-born dancer has asked for spousal support and has also requested that Garcia pay his legal fees.
