Nigella Lawson’s favourite Australian restaurant where she had ‘one of the best’ steaks in her life revealed

Nigella Lawson has visited what has become her favorite Australian restaurant many times.

The British cookbook author, 64, stopped at Fugazzi Bar and Dining Room in Adelaide, South Australia, twice during her speaking tour.

Led by MasterChef Australia star Laura Sharrad, Lawson said the steak and chips she had there were “one of the best” she had tried.

“She said she had walked past Fugazzi the last few days and thought it smelled delicious,” Laura said. Adelaide now.

“I was always disappointed that she wasn’t on my season of Masterchef, but it was much better than meeting her on the show. She was so easygoing, fun and down to earth that we had a great connection.

Nigella shared an image of her dinner on her second visit in an Instagram post, writing: “Greetings from #Adelaide! “It was just wonderful to be able to return to @fugazzi.bdr last night for this invigorating feast.

“Perfectly cooked tomahawk steak, anchovy hollandaise and fries and salad on the side.”

Last week she enjoyed some downtime at a swanky restaurant in Cottesloe, ahead of her first show at Perth’s Concert Hall.

Taking to Instagram, Nigella shared a gallery of images from her evening.

“Saturday night by the sea,” she told her followers in the caption, alongside a photo showing a stunning view of the setting sun seen from Cottesloe Beach.

She also posted photos of her delicious meal.

“(We) started with deliciously tangy raw beef tostadas and creamy crab arepas,” she posted.

Nigella also posted a photo of her delicious main meal, which included several courses.

Telling her followers that her Aji Verde roast chicken was “perfect”, Nigella described the rest of her meal in the post.

‘GCucumber green salad in a mint vinaigrette, accompanied by chips and spicy mayonnaise, all enjoyed with joy while watching the sunset.

Nigella has wowed fans Down Under with her appearances over the past two seasons of MKR.

Meanwhile, the beloved star is on a night out with Nigella Lawson and performed at Adelaide at Her Majesty’s Theater on March 19.
