Lucia Hawley has shared a touching tribute to her late father, while confirming that she has moved across the street from his childhood home.

The 26-year-old daughter of former TV presenter Antonia Kidman and niece of Nicole Kidman, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a series of touching family photos and excerpts from her latest Substack article.

Lucia’s father, Angus Hawley, who was married to Antonia until 2007, died in 2015 aged 46 after an apparent heart attack while in New York.

Tragically, the Kidman family also lost her father, Dr. Antony Kidman, just seven months earlier, also from a suspected heart attack.

Alongside a series of photos showing a young Lucia with her brothers James and Hamish, her parents and her grandfather, she shared that she has just moved into a new house right across the street from her childhood home.

“When I saw the address of this house on paper, I noticed its proximity to my old family home,” Lucia wrote.

“However, I didn’t realize it was right across the street from the house I grew up in until we started moving in.”

Continuing to describe the feelings of nostalgia that came over her upon moving, Lucia shared touching family memories at the house, such as the birth of her brother James there and welcoming her first pet cat named Pavlov.

“A lot has happened since then,” he continued.

‘My parents separated. We moved to Singapore. Pavlov, the cat, died (after 16 years of love).

‘However, he outlived my father, who passed away six years before him (a fact I’ve thought about a lot: my father would turn in his grave knowing that our family cat outlived him).

We grew up and moved on.

Lucia then revealed that she drives past her childhood home every night, which she says has “ignited” a feeling of “nostalgia”.

“When I saw the address of this house on paper, I noticed its proximity to my old family home,” Lucia wrote. “However, it wasn’t until we started moving that I realized it was right in front of my childhood home. Right across the street.”

“In the same way that watching an old family video evokes a feeling of nostalgia, my old home awakened an intense longing within me,” she wrote.

‘A nostalgia for the life my parents lived, my grandmother was healthy, and I wasn’t yet the child of divorced parents – the calm before the storm in many ways.’

Lucia ended the sweet post by revealing that she had seen a psychic as a way to reconnect with her late father.

“I recently booked an appointment with a psychic,” she continued.

‘I’m not usually the type of person who gets carried away by this kind of thing, but something took hold of me: a desire to connect with my dad, a sign that he’s okay.’

“Maybe this was my signal. Maybe he’s watching me through the shutters.”

“Oh Luch… so beautifully written,” she wrote.

“You are amazing, just like your father, and we all miss him so much. I loved Pavlov so much too. See you soon, beautiful girl!”
