Nicole Kidman has paid a bittersweet tribute to her late friend Jimmy Buffett after the American singer-songwriter passed away at the age of 76.
Buffett, who turned his hit song “Margaritaville” into a billion-dollar business empire, died Sept. 1 surrounded by loved ones.
Posting to Instagram Stories on Sunday, Nicole, 56, shared a photo of Jimmy playing guitar with husband Keith Urban, 55, at a tropical bar.
She also added a second image of her and Jimmy sitting together at a table in the same place.
“Remembering the good times (white heart emoji, hibiscus emoji). We will miss you xx,” the Hawaii-born Australian actress wrote.

Jimmy’s death was confirmed via a statement posted on his official website and social media pages.
“Jimmy passed away peacefully on the night of September 1, surrounded by his family, friends, music and dogs,” the statement read.

Buffett died after being diagnosed with skin cancer four years ago, a source told TMZ.
