Nicole Kidman followed in the footsteps of her husband, country music star Keith Urban, and adopted the Western style.

The Hollywood star, 57, sported a cowboy hat while attending the National Cutting Horse Association’s celebrity cutting event in Texas last week.

The Big Little Lies actress paired her hat with a sleek white blazer paired with a gray top.

She carefully tied her strawberry blonde hair into a ponytail to highlight her eye-catching accessory.

Nicole shared several snaps from the event on her Instagram Stories, including one of her posing alongside Taylor Sheridan’s wife, Nicole Muirbrook.

The event, a major event in the equestrian world, attracted a crowd of Western enthusiasts and celebrities alike.

The NHCA benefit raises funds for critical medical care and research, and Kidman’s presence added star power to the occasion.

It comes amid reports that Nicole and her husband Keith Urban are considering returning to their native Australia after a very difficult year.

She recently suffered personal tragedy following the death of her beloved mother Janelle in September, forcing her to return to Sydney for the funeral.

In the midst of that difficult time, Nicole had a very busy schedule traveling around the United States promoting her latest films and filming yet another project.

Loved ones are said to be worried as Nicole is suffering from “burnout” and she and Keith are now reportedly considering returning to Australia.

“Nicole and Keith have had the worst year of her life, they’ve barely spent any time together and she’s been alone during some of her most distressing times,” a source told Woman’s Day.

Nicole’s loved ones are said to be worried as she suffers from “burnout” and the Big Little Lies star and Keith are reportedly considering returning to Australia.

“The big worry on everyone’s mind is: How much more of this can he take?”

Country singer Keith, 57, is said to be considering stopping touring to support Nicole after her 10-date Las Vegas residency ends in February.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Nicole’s representatives for comment.

Nicole recently joined her family, including her younger sister Antonia, in grief in Sydney as they all attended her mother Janelle’s funeral.

Janelle died at the age of 84 last month, just hours before Nicole received the Best Actress award for her role in Babygirl at the Venice Film Festival.

Nicole had the support of Keith and her two daughters, Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14, before they all flew back to Los Angeles together.

Nicole and Keith own a sprawling 20-bedroom mansion in Nashville, which cost them $4.89 million, as well as a $6.77 million home in Beverly Hills and a $13.53 million designer duplex in Chelsea, New York.

They also still own property in Australia, including a $6.5 million farm in the Southern Highlands and two penthouses at Milson’s Point in Sydney, which they rent out.

Nicole is currently in the US filming an upcoming six-part crime series, Scarpetta, and has been seen on several red carpets promoting her latest release, Babygirl.
