Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban marked their Christmas Day celebrations with a visit to a church service in Sydney.
The Hollywood actress and musician, both 57, have returned to Australia for the Christmas season with their two daughters Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14.
And the family, who lives in Nashville, kept up their Christmas traditions by starting the day by attending a church service at St. Francis Xavier Church in Lavender Bay.
The chapel is Kidman’s home church and holds a special place for them, as it was where the funerals of Nicole’s mother Janelle and father Antony were held.
Stepping out for the Christmas Day service, Nicole cut an elegant figure in a black dress with a ruffled neckline, which she paired with dark sandals.
She packed her essentials into a sleek black bag and shielded her eyes with a pair of dark sunglasses as she joined her family at the service.

The couple were joined by their daughters Sunday and Faith as the family spent some quality time together to kick off their Christmas Day traditions.
Nicole’s two adopted children, Isabella, 31, and Connor, 29, who she shares with ex Tom Cruise, are not believed to have joined them on the trip to Australia.
Nicole flew back to Australia to join her younger sister Antonia, 54, and her family as they spend their first Christmas without their mother Janelle.
The family has come together to support each other during this bittersweet time, as they all spend time together over the festive period.
The chapel where Nicole and her family attended the Christmas Day service holds a special place for the family as they have been regulars there for years.
They also said goodbye to Nicole’s mother, Janelle, there in September when the whole family came together for the funeral.
A decade earlier, the funeral of Nicole’s father Antony was also held at St. Francis Xavier Church on September 19, 2014.

Nicole and Keith seemed to be in good spirits when they were seen leaving the church together after the service.
Keith was every inch the doting husband as he held the car door open for Nicole to enter his vehicle.

Nicole accessorized her summer ensemble with a variety of chunky jewelry as she arrived at church.
It’s not the first time the Kidmans have visited the church since Janelle’s funeral, as Nicole joined Keith and their daughters there on Monday, just days before Christmas.
Janelle sadly died at the age of 84 in September, just hours before Nicole won Best Actress for Babygirl at the Venice Film Festival.
It is tradition for Nicole to return to Australia over the Christmas period and she and Keith often host New Year’s Eve celebrations at their Sydney Harbor apartments.
Over the past ten years, Nicole bought two penthouses in North Sydney’s exclusive Latitude building and then combined them to form one mega apartment.
As she returns to Sydney this Christmas, Nicole will no doubt be reunited with her sister Antonia and her family.
The Kidman clan has already gotten into the holiday in recent weeks after Antonia jetted off to visit Nicole in Nashville earlier this month.
Antonia was joined by her daughters Lucia, 26, and Sybella, 17, for the trip as they flew to stay at Nicole’s $4.9 million Nashville mansion.
Keith showed off his tattooed arms as he sunbathed while waiting by his vehicle.
Keith has rallied to support Nicole in recent months following the death of her mother Janelle.

The entire Kidman clan has come together since their matriarch Janelle (pictured with Nicole in December 2018) sadly passed away in September at the age of 84.
Lucia, who lives in Sydney, shared festive snaps from the holiday on her Instagram at the time as she documented the trip.
She was joined by her boyfriend Henry Poole, while Antonia’s husband Craig Marran also flew with them.
Nicole’s sister Antonia shares her two daughters and two sons, Hamish, 23, and James, 21, with late businessman Angus Hawley, who died in 2015.
She also has two younger sons, Nicholas, ten, and Alexander, eight, with her second husband, Craig.
