Nicolas Cage was spotted looking mysterious while filming his upcoming Spider-Noir series in Los Angeles.
The 60-year-old actor, who was previously married five times, was dressed up as his character Spider-Man Noir in a forest green coat, fedora and gray suit as he walked down a crowded street.
On Monday, he was seen eating a hot dog on set while filming alongside several vintage cars as he channeled his role as a private investigator in the 1930s.
The highly anticipated film is set to follow the life of Cage’s character as he relearns how to live life as a former superhero trying to come to terms with his past.
He previously took on the role of Spider-Man Noir, the ‘dark’ version of the beloved Spider-Man that most are familiar with, in 2018 while voicing the character in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The upcoming project will be distributed by MGM+ and Amazon Prime Video and also stars Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson and Li Jun Li.
His spooky themed ensemble bore a striking resemblance to Humphrey Bogart, who he previously claimed was one of his main influences while playing the character via voiceover in 2018.
“I tried to channel those noir films with Bogart and have those kind of sounds that he could make with (James) Cagney or Edward G. Robinson, that kind of way of speaking,” he told ET at the time.
In May it was announced that Cage had been cast to star in Noir, a live-action film about the character he previously only played in cartoons.
The logline describes the show as being about “an aging, down-on-his-luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to deal with his past life as the town’s only superhero,” via from Variety.
Cage, a lifelong movie star who won an Oscar for his role in Leaving Las Vegas in 1995, had never before been a regular on a television series.
Two months before the new show was officially announced, he said he was toying with the idea of playing Spider-Man Noir on the small screen.
‘Well, I can say we’ve been talking. It’s no secret that I love the character. “I think the character offers another kind of combination,” he said.
‘I can combine my favorite performances from the golden era; “Robinson, Cagney, Bogart, with a character that, I guess, is widely considered Stan Lee’s masterpiece,” he said.
“I see it as a kind of foray into a mix of pop art, a kind of Jungian mix of Lichtenstein through Bogart and Cagney, but nothing is final yet. “It’s just a conversation,” he told Collider at the time.

He received high praise earlier this year for his villainous role in the horror film Longlegs, which became a social media sensation.
The film was written and directed by Osgood Perkins, son of Anthony Perkins, who played murderer Norman Bates in Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.
Longlegs stars Maika Monroe as an FBI agent on the hunt for a serial killer (Cage) who leaves a note reading, ‘LONGLEGS,’ with the corpse of each of his victims.
