She successfully conquered the boxing ring after retiring from the sport undefeated in 2019.

And Nicola Adams also seems to be conquering the wilds as she posed for a fun snap with adventurer Bear Grylls as she took part in his new Wild Adventure TV specials.

The boxing champion, 38, was undoubtedly indispensable as she donned a bright yellow jacket while she and Bear, 46, filmed the grueling scenes in Dartmoor.

Nicola seemed excited for the adventure as she rocked her signature fist stance while Bear flashed a thumbs up.

She added a black hat and a backpack full of supplies as she stood in the picturesque location with the survival expert.

Nicola also shared the same images on her Instagram, where she revealed that the “amazing” adventure pushed her limits and tested her limits.

Footage from the show, which airs Friday, sees the former Strictly star perched amid giant rocks as she prepares to climb down.

A source told The sun of the trip: ‘Nicola jumped at the opportunity to spend 48 hours in the wild with Bear. They filmed the show in Dartmoor and it was pretty rough considering the wet weather.

“Nicola is a great sportswoman and was wild for everything Bear threw at her. The premise of the show is not just to teach the stars how to survive in the wild, but also to show them another side.

“Bear is both a great interviewer and an adventurer and he learned a lot from Nicola. It will be a really great watch.’

Bear recently shared how the duo were forced to boil an egg with hand sanitizer as he recounted their adventure during a performance on Good Morning Britain last month.

Describing how they got creative amid the harsh weather, he said, ‘Hand sanitizer has become a thing in all of our lives, hasn’t it? But so much of survival is about being resourceful and improvising.

“So while we were there we had some eggs, but it was pouring with rain, there was no chance of fire.

“So we wrapped it in a tissue, some hand sanitizer, lit it, and it cooked the boiled egg.”

Host Adhil Ray quickly added: ‘Kids at home, don’t try to boil an egg like that, please!’

Bear, real name Edward Michael Grylls, the sportswoman’s addition: ‘But [Nicola] was amazing, she is a true champion inside and out. We had some grim weather on Dartmoor over the winter for this adventure.

“We had the Johnny Wilkinson beforehand, but Nicola Adams is definitely a special one, and what a hero she is.”

Bear Grylls’ Wild Adventure Specials airs Friday at 9.30pm on ITV.
