Meyers admitted that “it took us years to conceive our” first child, so they wanted to “recognize that when you’ve experienced a pregnancy loss or had difficulty conceiving, pregnancy announcements are always bittersweet, sometimes even your own.”
“It doesn’t escape me that some people reading this are still waiting for the first one while I announce the second one,” explained the author of I Am More Than My Body.
