Nicki Minaj fans who attended the rapper’s “embarrassing” Dublin concert are demanding refunds after she arrived 90 minutes late and performed for less than an hour.
The 41-year-old star, originally from Trinidad and Tobago but raised in Queens, New York, was due to take to the stage at Malahide Castle after 8pm on Saturday night.
However, the Starships singer reportedly did not show up until before 10pm, leaving her 20,000 fans, who had been waiting for her in the rain at the open-air venue, furious.
According to local media, Nicki’s set lasted less than an hour, including 10-15 minutes for multiple costume changes.
Tickets for the rapper’s first Dublin show since 2015 started at €90 for a standard ticket, and she has offered no explanation for her late arrival on stage.

Following the “disastrous” concert, fans shared their disappointment with X and demanded that the organizers issue full refunds.
One fumed: ‘The million dollar question is whether you’ll have enough respect from your fan base to show up on time.
‘Malahide Castle was an absolute disgrace. 1.5 hours late for a 50 minute show.’
Another added: “I have definitely lost all respect for Nicki Minaj after what happened last night at Malahide Castle.”
What’s more, a third pointed out how some fans left before Nicki appeared because they had lost faith in the rapper coming out.
They wrote: ‘Crow leaves Malahide Castle because Nicki Minaj can’t be bothered to come on stage. Shame on you.’
Meanwhile, a fourth asked Ticketmaster for a refund, arguing that Nicki’s behaviour had been “unacceptable”.
The fan, who tagged the official Ticketmaster X account, said: “I’m wondering if there will be a refund for Nicki Minaj’s Malahide gig last night as she turned up two hours late and played for 30 minutes. I paid over €300 for tickets, it’s just not acceptable.”
Following the “disastrous” concert, fans expressed their disappointment in X and demanded that the organizers refund them in full.
FEMAIL has contacted MCD Productions, which organised the concert, for comment.
Nicki has not acknowledged the criticism on her social media, instead choosing to post several videos and photos from the performance on Instagram and X.
In response, one fan said she had “let Ireland down” with the concert.
Another responded to the “misleading” posts: “I love her music, I was excited to see her in person. She left 20,000 people standing in the rain until about 10pm in a place that has a clear 10:30pm curfew.”
‘There were several emails from promoters confirming that she would be on stage at 8:20pm and that doors would open at 4pm.
“It was the worst show I’ve ever been to, and I’ve seen plenty of them, big and small, in the 20-plus years I’ve been going to concerts.”
Following her show in Dublin, Nicki pulled out of her festival appearance in Romania on Sunday over “safety concerns.”

I hope to see you all another time.

In May, Nicki missed her show at Manchester’s Co-op Live arena after being detained at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport on suspicion of drug offences.
Despite the publicity surrounding his arrest, more than 23,000 ticket holders were able to enter the venue and take their seats, where they waited before being told the concert was postponed.

A video taken inside the stadium showed fans booing and shouting after the announcement, while organisers said they were “deeply disappointed by the inconvenience this has caused”.
Minaj’s supporters, who call themselves Barbz, have criticised bosses at the “cursed” music venue for allowing them to enter and spend money even though the show did not go ahead.
One fan told MailOnline she was “absolutely heartbroken” by the cancellation of the concert. “It’s not like the tickets were cheap,” Alesha said. “We spent a fortune to be there tonight, not counting the travel and the clothes we bought for it.”
