The drought is over.
Nick Taylor won the RBC Canadian Open in a playoff on Sunday, becoming the first Canadian to win the tournament since Pat Fletcher in 1954.
Taylor, 35, shot a 6-under 66 in the final round, putting him at 17-under for the tournament – a number matched only by England’s Tommy Fleetwood.
But Taylor’s 22-yard eagle putt beat Fleetwood in the fourth playoff hole at 18, and Taylor walked away champion at home.

Both players birdied the first playoff hole, then grabbed consecutive pars for Taylor’s stunning clincher at No. 18.
CT Pan, Tyrrell Hatton and Aaron Rai took third.
Taylor started the day tied for eighth with 11-under after shooting a track-record 63 in Saturday’s third round.
More to come.
