Nick Saban takes over SEC Media Days & Greg Sankey shuts down FSU

On today’s episode, SI’s Dan Wetzel, Ross Dellinger and Pat Forde react to the biggest headlines from SEC Media Days in Dallas, Texas.

The program begins with news of a revenue-sharing model for the SEC and how this will affect staffing in the future. They also discuss the implications for Title IX.

They then react to comments made about Texas during the week. They agree with most of the event attendees who say Texas will not immediately step in and lead the conference.

They move on to multiple comments made by Georgia head coach Kirby Smart about Oregon mega-donor Phil Knight and the fines levied on his players through the Georgia NIL collective.

After the break, they calmed rumors about the latest realignment by sharing comments made by SEC commissioner Greg Sankey directed at Florida State.

They conclude the show by recounting the many highlights of former Alabama head coach Nick Saban’s college football broadcasting debut.
