Nick Kyrgios has hinted at his long-awaited return to tennis, as the Australian ace’s girlfriend Costeen Hatzi reveals the couple are leaving their home for ‘four or five months’.
Kyrgios hasn’t played a tour match since the Japan Open seven months ago and underwent knee surgery after missing the Australian Open in January.
On the comeback trail, he has now also bypassed the French Open, where, despite not being the slog’s biggest fan on clay, he had promised to take his girlfriend Costen Hatzi because she wanted to see Paris for the first time.
Hatzi, a social media influencer and interior designer, recently posted on Instagram that the couple have been leaving their house for a long time.
She shared a video on Instagram of the couple’s empty house, expressing her sadness at leaving.

“I’m not ready to leave our house for 4-5 months,” Hatzi captioned the post.
Kyrgios shared the music video on her own account with a calming message for her.
‘It’s good b, we have each other. Flying around the world is also not a bad problem hahaha’ Kyrgios wrote.
Kyrgios doubles partner Thanasi Kokkinakis said Kyrgios is on the mend and is looking forward to returning to Wimbledon.
“I think the plan for him is to be ready for Wimbledon and play some starters,” Kokkinakis told reporters last week.
‘Stuttgart (June 12-18) was up there I think. I don’t know if he will go to Queen’s or Halle (June 19-25), but I hope he is ready.
“By all accounts, his recovery has been a bit slower than he thought, but I think he’s on the mend now and that’s looking good for the weed.”
Of their partnership that won the Australian Open doubles title last year, Kokkinakis added: “The current plan is to play Wimbledon, obviously health permitting.”

“We are going to sign for the double there – we actually talked about it on Thursday.
“We haven’t played in a long time, and I haven’t played a lot of doubles at all this year because it’s not really a priority for me this year, but I still want to play in some of the bigger tournaments because it’s always a fun experience with him.
Hatzi has been dating Kyrgios for just over a year now and frequently accompanies him on his sports tours to cheer him on from the stands.
Kyrgios has already hinted at a wedding and a few small Kyrgios kids in a playful interview with Karl Stefanovic today, and doubled down on his plans to wed Hatzi in January.
He posted “we’re getting married soon” after seeing photos of his partner posing with a baby online.
Kyrgios also happily credited Hatzi’s positive influence for helping him produce the best year of his tennis career in 2022.
