Nick Grimshaw gave an update when he returned to BBC Radio 6 Music on Monday after returning home from his nightmare trip to Ibiza.
The presenter and his 81-year-old mother were gassed in their sleep as raiders ransacked their rented holiday apartment on the island last week, MailOnline previously revealed.
Nick was celebrating his 40th birthday with his family when the property was attacked by the gang who have targeted several villas occupied by wealthy tourists over the past year.
On Sunday, she posted a photo on Instagram, cradling her dog and writing: Happy holidays from me and Blob.
“As a fan of 6 Music, I’m excited to tell you that I’ll be hosting your breakfast this week. See you tomorrow at 7:30am.”

In another update on Monday, Nick shared a short clip of his story after arriving at the studio, saying: ‘Well, good morning everyone, welcome to 6 Music.
“I’ll be here today and every day this week to look after you on the 6 Music Breakfast Show. So come and listen.”
Nick and his mother Eileen were sedated after the gang pumped sedative gas into the property where the star was sleeping, and waited for it to take effect before entering wearing hazmat suits and turning the villa upside down.
No one is said to have been injured in the incident, although some items are believed to have been stolen in the raid.
A source said the gang had no idea who Nick was, but the villa was on a hit list because it was known to be “used by high-net-worth clients”.
“Unfortunately, this is a case of wrong place at wrong time, but it is terrifying to say the least,” they said.
‘Nick was obviously upset, but thought it was best to keep the matter off social media.’
Prior to the incident, Nick was spotted in Ibiza last week enjoying a night out with his niece Liv and her fiancé Mesh Henry, where they enjoyed ice cream.
In an update on Monday, Nick shared a short clip on his story after arriving at the studio and said: ‘Well good morning everyone, welcome to 6 Music.’
He captioned his post: ‘As a huge fan of 6 Music, I’m so excited to say that I’ll be babysitting you guys over breakfast all this week. See you tomorrow morning starting at 7:30am.’
It has since been revealed that Nick’s villa was on the hit list of a gang using sedative gas and the same gang were thought to have carried out similar attacks by pumping sedative gas into a property and then forcing their way inside wearing hazmat suits.
Other celebrities claim to have been targeted in similar raids in the past, with Richard Hammond and Jenson Button among them revealing their terrifying experiences.
Former Top Gear presenter Richard and his wife Mindy were tear-gassed before being assaulted as they slept at their Saint Tropez villa in 2018.
Richard, Mindy and 15 other guests were attacked by assailants who used anesthetic gas to render them unconscious before searching their rooms for cash and jewellery.
Meanwhile, Jenson and his ex-wife Jessica were out with friends in St Tropez in 2015 when burglars broke in and stole £300,000 worth of valuables, including Ms Button’s engagement ring, believed to be worth £250,000.
It was claimed the Formula One driver, then 35, and his wife may have been knocked unconscious by gas pumped into the house through the air conditioning units.
A source close to Button said the Grand Prix star was “convinced” that was what happened.
They added that Button and his friends were not disturbed during the raid as the effects of the gas gave the thieves “free rein.”
