San Francisco 49ers star Nick Bosa delivered a clear message during Sunday Night Football ahead of the US presidential election.
With voters across America set to go to the polls in just over a week, the defensive lineman made it clear who he will vote for.
The 27-year-old interrupted teammates Brock Purdy, George Kittle and Isaac Guerendo’s post-victory interview live on NBC to show his support for Donald Trump.
Bosa interrupted the interview to poke his head between the quarterback and reporter Melissa Stark to show off his hat, which read, “Make America Great Again,” the Republican candidate’s infamous slogan.
He repeatedly pointed to the cap, before Stark laughed at the interruption and said, “Alright, Nick Bosa with a message there.”

The Fort Lauderdale native’s teammates looked embarrassed as they silently laughed at his antics.
Bosa has been an outspoken defender of the former president in the past, tweeting pro-Trump content before being drafted second overall by the 49ers in 2019.
The pass rusher was the second overall pick by the 49ers during the 2019 NFL Draft, much to the ire of the team’s more liberal fans.
Some 49ers fans reacted angrily to the San Francisco team’s decision to draft Bosa, due to his reputation as a Trump supporter and his history of “insensitive” social media posts.
In addition to supporting Trump’s presidency, Bosa had a history of tweeting negative statements about Black pop culture icons and entertainment properties, posts that his agent removed from his online presence amid his 2019 draft prospects.
Among his deleted tweets were statements calling activist and former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick a “clown,” writing that NBA star Dwyane Wade “looks like a parrot fish,” and calling Black Panther the “worst Marvel movie.”
He also tweeted that “Beyonce’s music is complete garbage” in 2016, just six days after she released her album Lemonade, featuring the politically charged song Formation. Earlier in the year, Beyonce had faced criticism for wearing a Black Panther-inspired outfit and performing Formation during the Super Bowl halftime show.
Over the years, Bosa hasn’t hesitated to support Trump either, tweeting “I love this man” while retweeting a video of Trump’s weekly speech and posting a photo of himself giving a thumbs up next to a cardboard cutout of Trump .
The defensive lineman has been an outspoken supporter of Donald Trump in the past.

Bosa, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was also quoted as saying he is a “huge fan” of Trump, adding, “He brings a charisma that no other candidate has had in my lifetime,” according to SF Gate.
Since his 2019 selection, he has kept his political beliefs a little more toned down than before he was selected.
Earlier this year, he had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the former president when he and fellow NFL star Joe Burrow greeted Trump at a UFC event.
The three spoke briefly ringside before taking a photo, which was posted to Trump adviser Dan Scavino Jr.’s account.
