In January, Lucy revealed that her son had died after an intracerebral hemorrhage caused by acute lymphoblastic lymphoma / leukemia – an incredibly rare condition that kills only 800 people a year.

Lucy and the Only Fools and Horses actor, 59, discovered the ‘poignant’ details of his second post mortem just four days before Christmas, months after an inquest into his ‘unexplained’ death was left.

She wrote on her social media platform at the time, ‘He died of an intracerebral hemorrhage caused by acute lymphatic lymphoma / leukemia.

Last month, Lucy paid tribute again when she celebrated her first Mother’s Day without her son. She said that getting through the day without her only child was “the hardest thing ever” when she uploaded heartwarming images.
