Niall Horan reveals his mental health struggles after Australian tour announcement: ‘I was convincing myself that maybe I wasn’t so anxious’
Niall Horan is known as the fun-loving former member of One Direction.
But the Irish musician is candid about his struggle with anxiety and that he has to take it into account in his daily life.
The This Town hitmaker said he doesn’t have a generalized anxiety disorder, but has come to accept that it’s an emotion he feels, so he decided to channel those feelings onto his new album The Show.
“I was maybe convincing myself that I wasn’t so anxious or whatever,” he said The Sunday Telegraph.
“I think we are going through relatively different things. So it felt like the right time to do some songs like that. The only good thing about the pandemic is how thought-provoking it was, good and bad.

“That’s good writing material and it was the only time I’ve really been able to sit still for a second and think about what has been crazy for 10 years in that time.”
Even though he experiences lows, the Slow Hands singer said he is an “optimistic dude” and that even in the “s**t times,” he always tries to see the silver lining.
This is because Niall recently announced his tour The Show, with which he will play in several states in Australia next year.
He will take the stage at Brisbane Entertainment Center on April 28, Qudos Bank Arena Sydney on May 1 and Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on May 3.
Niall then heads back to Melbourne for a second date on May 4 after selling out his first night in the city.

“This girl is beyond gifted. There’s a tone to it that, as I’ve always said, is unmistakable and you know it’s a Gina Miles song when you hear it – it will be later on.’
