Adin Hill made 34 saves for his first career playoff shutout and the visiting Vegas Golden Knights took the lead in the Western Conference Finals with a 4-0 win over the Dallas Stars in the game 3 Tuesday evening.
The Golden Knights own a 3-0 best-of-seven series lead and have won five straight heading into Game 4 on Thursday night in Dallas.
Ivan Barbashev had a goal and two assists, Jonathan Marchessault, William Carrier and Alex Pietrangelo also scored and Nicolas Roy had two assists for the Golden Knights.
Vegas chased Dallas goaltender Jake Oettinger with three goals in the opening 7:10. Oettinger made two saves before being replaced by Scott Wedgewood, who stopped 10 of 11 shots he faced until the end of the course.
