Marsha Kearney, the mother of Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice, faces misdemeanor charges over allegations she stole a package from her neighbor, Texas authorities confirmed to DailyMail.com.
This news follows the release of doorbell camera footage that allegedly shows a 43-year-old North Richland Hills resident taking a neighbor’s package at her apartment building. The package contained records by singer-songwriter Chappell Roan, according to TMZ.
Kearney is scheduled to appear in court late next month.
“The reporting party reported that a package was removed from his porch,” reads a statement from the North Richland Hills Police Department provided to DailyMail.com. “The reporting party reported that his Ring Camera, located at the front door, captured the incident and turned it over to police.”
Kearney was subsequently the subject of an arrest warrant before turning himself in on October 15.

Earlier this year, she was accused of stealing several household items from a man, including food, glasses, laundry supplies, merchandise and socks. The case was ultimately dismissed on June 4 after Kearney appeared before a judge and met unspecified conditions, a court official told TMZ.
This latest incident is said to have occurred just hours after the Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Chargers on September 29.
In the video, obtained by TMZ, a woman walks past the camera wearing a ‘Momma-Rice’ jersey with the number 4 and looks directly into the lens as she walks by.
Moments later, the woman returns and uses her foot to slide a package away from the door.
But unfortunately for her, while she thought she was out of the camera’s view, the woman is seen leaning down to grab the package, picking up a box and then walking away.

Meanwhile, Rice is out indefinitely after suffering a significant knee injury in that win over the Chargers. He has since undergone successful surgery, leaving the Chiefs scrambling to add receivers.
This week the Chiefs acquired veteran DeAndre Hopkins from Tennessee in exchange for a fifth-round pick.
Rice was also involved in a major incident with police in April when he was caught fleeing the scene of a horrific high-speed crash on a Dallas highway. Four other vehicles were damaged in the accident, which could have been fatal.
Two people were taken to hospital and others were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Rice was ultimately charged with aggravated assault, collision resulting in serious bodily injury and six counts of collision resulting in injury.
