Tennessee Titans Quarterback Will Levis was forced to change his phone number to avoid trolls sending him abusive messages about his poor start to the season.
With the Titans off to an 0-2 start, the second-year quarterback with 11 NFL starts has been an easy target for critics.
Things won’t get much easier for Tennessee this week, which boasts the NFL’s worst turnover margin, as it faces a Green Bay defense that leads the league with six takeaways.
Levis has revealed that he will have to change his cell phone number after it somehow became public.
“What I’m doing today is getting a new phone number. I don’t know how my number got out to the fans, but I got a lot of text messages,” he said.

With the Titans off to an 0-2 start, the second-year quarterback has come under fire from fans.
“It would be nice to close that part and leave it behind.”
She also revealed that she has been avoiding social media altogether.
“I think it’s the healthiest way to do it,” Levis continued.
“I don’t want or care to hear anything people say about me and I’m going to move on regardless of what they say. It’s a shame the world is the way it is and I’m looking forward to some privacy.”
Only Denver’s Bo Nix and the Colts’ Anthony Richardson have more interceptions with four each than Levis, who is currently tied with five other NFL quarterbacks with three interceptions.
Levis also has both of the Titans’ fumbles. Only Cincinnati has more as a team with three, and Tennessee is tied with Arizona, Minnesota and the Raiders with two.
First-year coach Brian Callahan was caught on television cameras asking Levis what he was thinking about a profanity included in last week’s fumble against the New York Jets.
The Titans were in field goal range up 7-0 when Levis went horizontal for the second straight game and tried to throw the ball back to Tyjae Spears.
The last time Levis did that, the ball was intercepted and returned for a 6-point touchdown in the season-opening loss to the Bears.
