Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews was involved in a car accident while on his way to the team facility early Wednesday morning.
As revealed by the team on the Internet, Andrews has been examined by doctors and appears to be in good shape. In fact, he was able to attend morning meetings at the training camp with his teammates.
“Mark Andrews was involved in a car accident while en route to the Under Armour Performance Center early Wednesday morning,” the team’s statement read. “Andrews was evaluated by the medical staff at the Ravens’ training facility and suffered no apparent injuries. He later joined the team for morning meetings.
‘Mark was originally scheduled to have a day off practice on Wednesday and is expected to return to practice in the coming days.’
Andrews has also released her own statement: “I appreciate everyone’s comments and well wishes. It’s a great reminder of the importance of wearing a seatbelt and staying alert while driving.”
