Two NFL stars accused of robbing four Florida partygoers at gunpoint have noticed their legal woes intensify after police made transcripts of conversations and a video apparently showing a friend’s attempts to kill the four men. allegedly robbed.
DeAndre Baker, a 22-year-old cornerback for the New York Giants, and Quinton Dunbar, a 27-year-old cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks, are accused of organizing the robbery on May 13.
The couple, both from Miami, were reportedly playing cards and video games during a cooking match in Miramar, Broward County when a fight broke out.
Baker, according to police, turned over a card table and “pulled out a semi-automatic firearm,” and began ordering Dunbar and two others to rob the guests at the meeting.

Their victims lost Rolex and Hublot watches, as well as cash.
A witness told police that he had been to a party with Baker and Dunbar two days earlier, where they reportedly lost $ 70,000 in gambling, the arrest warrant says.
Lawyers for the two sports stars firmly deny the version of the events in the arrest warrant and insist they have affidavits and video evidence exempting them.
Both men have pleaded innocently.
But on Friday the New York Daily News obtained legal charges from Broward County Registrar, describing what appeared to be incriminating reports and evidence of a cover-up carried out on their behalf by a childhood friend.
Dominick Johnson, a nightlife promoter, writes in an Instagram post that he “let” the four accusers say they have nothing to do with “boys” in exchange for $ 55,000.
An unnamed person contacts Johnson, nicknamed Coach, and writes, ‘Coach, you need to help them as much as you can because you can be holla with the ppl who has been robbed and the other way to clear it up because your name is involved. ”
Video footage and reports seem to show that Johnson oversaw the payout and met the four accusers at the office of Dunbar’s attorney Michael Grieco on May 15.
None of the NFL players were at the May 15 meeting, but Miramar police detective Mark Moretti, who had filed orders for further access to iCloud communications, revealed direct messages between Baker and Johnson on Instagram that Baker at the involve payoff.
“Johnson tells Baker to come to Dunbar Lawyer’s office,” Moretti writes.
Baker replied, “Am I in town now to get money on how much to bring? I try to get there as soon as possible. ‘
“There have been several phone calls between Baker and Johnson.
Johnson seems to be nervous saying to Baker, “Yooooo these people are leaving finna. ”

The Broward County clerk released the documents to the New York Daily News
CCTV video evidence described in the warrant allegedly shows Grieco, Johnson, an unknown person and the four alleged victims at Grieco’s office.
Grieco is seen leaving his 24th-floor office, taking the elevator to the lobby, and returning Johnson and the four alleged victims to his office at 2:26 PM.
Johnson eventually leaves the office and meets an unknown person in the lobby, according to the warrant.
Johnson and the stranger take the elevator up from the lobby at 2:34 PM.
During that lift ride, the stranger takes a black bag off his shoulders, shows the open bag to Johnson and a large amount of money is visible.
Johnson then takes the bag.
Everyone then meets in front of Grieco’s office before entering.
Everyone left the building at 3:15 PM.
And around 4:00 PM, Moretti says he has received a notification from Grieco that the witness statement and the witness have changed.
Johnson writes to an unnamed person on Instagram: ‘We are all going to the lawyer now to drop the charges, I got them n ****** to sign the papers.
“They have the same n ****** that said they were robbed to say they didn’t.
“The same n ****** that was robbed, I had them repaired who sucks.”
The New York Giants player has pleaded innocent and released on bail
The four accusers then told the police that they had been paid to change their story.
A victim claims to have received $ 30,000; a second says he received $ 20,000 in the lawyer’s office; and a third say he received only $ 5,000 and gave half of the money to the fourth victim.
One of the four victims says “he was ordered not to see what he thought he saw” on the night of the alleged armed robbery, the warrant said.
Baker and Dunbar reported themselves to Broward County main prison on May 16 and spent the night before being released for $ 200,000 and $ 100,000 bonds, respectively.
Baker pleaded innocently to four counts of armed robbery with a firearm and four counts of heavy assault with a firearm.
Dunbar pleaded not guilty to four counts of armed robbery robberies.
Baker has a base salary of $ 1.4 million for 2020, but that does not include incentives. He made over $ 6 million as a rookie in salary and his drawing bonus.
