Pittsburgh's Acrisure Stadium was recently named one of the NFL's worst away stadiums.

Not all NFL road trips are pleasant, with a road game at the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Acrisure Stadium tied for the seventh least desirable for an NFL game according to a recent poll.

Pittsburgh got 4.1 percent of the vote in the poll The Athleticwith Green Bay taking first place with a staggering 16.8 percent voting it as the league’s worst road trip.

Between Green Bay and Pittsburgh end Buffalo, New York, Washington, Cleveland and Jacksonville.

However, the comments about why Pittsburgh is a terrible place to play really stood out.

“I would say Pittsburgh, because it smells like shit in their locker room,” said one player in the survey.

The Steelers have played at Acrisure Stadium since 2001 after the demolition of Three Rivers Stadium, which they shared with baseball’s Pittsburgh Pirates.

Pittsburgh has been considered notoriously cold during December and January NFL games, as has Green Bay and Buffalo.

This season, the Steelers are off to a good start with a 3-1 record, losing their first game of the year last Sunday against the Colts.

Pittsburgh has a one-game lead in the AFC North with 14 weeks left in the NFL season.

If that keeps up, it looks like bigger games will happen with visiting teams coming out of the locker room smelling like shit.
