NFL news updates: Anthony Richardson's hip injury not so serious, Vikings remain undefeated

Week 4 is almost in the books, and we are now left with only one undefeated team in the entire NFL: the Minnesota Vikings, led by their MVP candidate QB, Sam Darnold. Like Geno Smith two seasons ago with the Seattle Seahawks, a quarterback’s entire future can change with the right combination of coaches and teammates.

While no one is worried about Darnold right now, everyone is worried about Anthony Richardson of the Indianapolis Colts. Not because of his overall performance (that’s a topic for another day) but because of his hips. He left Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers (27-24 Colts win) with a hip problem and was unable to return (he was replaced by old faithful Joe Flacco). But reports from Monday morning indicate that the injury is not that serious and the Colts were simply taking major precautions with him on Sunday.

You might want to keep an eye on this Jayden Daniels guy. In his first four games he had a better completion percentage than a guy named Tom Brady did in his 2007 season. The Commanders may have gotten a real one in the 2024 NFL Draft, folks.

  • Anthony Richardson’s Hip Injury Reportedly Not That Serious

Good news for Colts fans: The injury that took QB Anthony Richardson out of Sunday’s win against the Steelers doesn’t appear to be all that bad. NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe reported that the Colts were acting out of an abundance of caution when they ruled him out, but he appears to have avoided a serious injury.
