NFL fans tuning into Sunday Night Football expressed their concerns after catching a glimpse of NBC commentator Cris Collinsworth’s hands.
As they called a game from cold, snowy Orchard Park, New York, between the San Francisco 49ers and the host Buffalo Bills, the cameras occasionally panned back to the booth and showed Collinsworth alongside play-by-play man Mike Tirico.
Some shots showed that the tops of Collinsworth’s hands appeared darker than her fingers or the rest of her hand.
It’s not clear what the cause of the discoloration may be, or if there is a serious concern that people should be concerned about.
Several fans posted on social media expressing concern for the veteran commentator and advising someone at NBC to get him something to keep him warm.
Sports content creator Brianna Pirre tweeted: “Can we get Cris Collinsworth some gloves or something so the guy’s hands are blue?”

Another user posted: ‘Why does Cris Collinsworth’s hand look like Dumbledore’s cursed hand in Half-Blood Prince?’
‘Give Cris Collinsworth some gloves… his hands are dead!’ another user added.
A different user, mocking Collinsworth’s comment style, posted: “Here’s a guy whose hand could be dead.”
This isn’t the first time this season that the NBC broadcast veteran’s hands have sparked concern among fans.
In early October, at a Sunday night football game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys, Collinsworth’s hands appeared to be a similar color..
Collinsworth, the former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver, has been in the broadcast booth for NBC’s Sunday Night Football for sixteen seasons.
