An apparent cheap shot on Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has fans talking after his team suffered its first loss this season to the Baltimore Ravens.

In a clip posted by the X MLFootball account, Allen’s helmet is ripped off during a fight. As the quarterback’s head was unprotected, Baltimore linebacker Raquan Smith was seen charging toward the dogpile.

While the clip does not clearly indicate whether Smith hit Allen in the head, fans took to social media to express their anger toward the Ravens and the NFL.

One fan wrote: “That was such a useless punch at the time.”

Meanwhile, several claimed that “the Crows have always been dirty.”

‘Are we surprised Roquan Smith did that? “I mean he’s been doing that his whole career,” a third user stated.

‘Humphrey is the DIRTY MF who ripped off Josh’s helmet! Then Smith with the last blow,” added a fourth. ‘Something to score for the playoffs!’

“Player safety is crucial and it is essential that everyone plays within the rules to avoid unnecessary risks,” said a fifth.

Allen struggled in the Week 4 matchup, going 16 of 29 for 180 yards and zero touchdowns. Buffalo’s only trip to the end zone came thanks to Ty Johnson’s rushing effort. Kicker Tyler Bass then added four points in his losing effort.

Meanwhile, Lamar Jackson shined in the victory, going 13 of 18 for 156 yards and two touchdowns. Derrick Henry, Justice Hill and Justin Tucker also contributed to the Ravens’ scoring.

Last year’s AFC title contenders improved to a 2-2 record. The Ravens lost to the Chiefs and Raiders to start the season before scoring their first win over the Cowboys. Baltimore will face the Cincinnati Bengals on October 6.

On the other hand, Allen and the Bills moved to a 3-1 record after tying wins against the Cardinals, Dolphins and Jaguars. The Bills will compete – also on the 6th – against the Houston Texans.
