Eagles great Jason Kelce made a surprise appearance on Jeopardy! on Tuesday night

NFL fans got a nice surprise on Tuesday night when Jason Kelce appeared on Jeopardy!

The recently retired Eagles legend has been on ESPN lately after beginning his stint on the Monday Night Football pregame show.

And he showed off his television prowess on Jeopardy! when he made a cameo to read a clue in the “Philadelphia” category.

The question was related to the city’s famous Broad Street, as it referenced his and his brother Travis’ Billboard hit song, “Fairytale of Philadelphia,” which mentions the street in the lyrics.

According to the US MirrorA contestant named Will immediately answered “What’s Broad Street?” to win 1,000 points.

And fans were thrilled to see Kelce on their screen as they reacted enthusiastically online to his cameo.

‘Just watched Jason Kelce on Jeopardy giving a clue. Awesome!’ added another.

“Jason Kelce was on Jeopardy again, what a king,” said a third fan.

Kelce also appeared on the show in May, when he was honored with his own category in the Jeopardy Masters finale.

The category was called ‘The World Revolves Around Jason Kelce.’

Kelce isn’t the first football player to appear on the popular trivia show, as Aaron Rodgers hosted several episodes of the show in 2021.

The appearances came after the death of famed host Alex Trebek, and the show employed a rotating cast of hosts to find his replacement.

Kelce’s appearance on Jeopardy! was much more subdued than his visit to Philadelphia on Monday.

The Eagles faced the Falcons on Monday Night Football and Kelce engaged in some wild tailgating, with some fans accusing him of being drunk as he danced on the stage.

However, he denied being drunk on Monday Night Football in the latest episode of New Heights, and said he had not been drinking during tailgates.

Kelce and the Monday Night Football crew will be in Cincinnati next week when the Bengals host the Commanders.
