The Kansas City Chiefs will open the 2024 NFL season with a home game against the Baltimore Ravens, the NFL announced.
The Super Bowl champions will kick off the new campaign at Arrowhead on September 5 in a mouth-watering Thursday night matchup against their AFC rivals.
The game will air on NBC and Peacock, and will see Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and company take on Lamar Jackson.
It is a rematch of the 2024 AFC Championship game in which Kansas City beat Baltimore to reach Super Bowl LVIII.
It was a close contest, with the Chiefs barely managing to beat the Ravens by a score of 17-10.
