NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus shared a video of himself swimming with and holding a shark caught on a fishing line and received a mixed reaction regarding the timing.
Rosenhaus posted the video to his social media accounts on Tuesday afternoon along with the caption; ‘I went fishing with @cheetah and @blacktiph, @nflrecord. I decided to approach this Dusky Shark’.
On her accounts, Rosenhaus received praise and support for the video, but not everyone felt the same way.
The video was reposted by NFL news account ML Football and was littered with various comments, with some criticizing the move as the shark was relatively limp while stuck on a line.
“I swear that’s why women live longer than men,” one Twitter user replied to the aggregated post.

Some Twitter users criticized Rosenhaus, but there were a variety of mixed views.

Rosenhaus is one of the league’s top agents and was Tyreek Hill’s longtime representative

He posted the video to Instagram and Twitter, revealing he was with the Miami WR
Another opposed to Rosenhaus’ actions wrote: ‘Leave the shark alone. He was just minding his business.
Others described the lighthearted moment, certainly in Rosenhaus’s name, as “abuse.”
Granted, there were many who ostensibly enjoyed the video. One user disputed the idea that he was wrestling with the shark, pointing to the relatively requiem fish.
One of Rosenhaus’ friends asked Tyreek Hill of the Dolphins if he would like to join Rosenhaus in the water. His response was emphatic; “Hell no” (sic).
