Neymar hinted at a lingering rift between him and former PSG teammate Kylian Mbappe after he liked a post criticizing the Frenchman for leaving the Ligue 1 club.
Mbappé informed the Parisians that he will not extend his contract beyond the end of the season, as his move to Real Madrid is reportedly approaching.
The 25-year-old will end his seven-year stay in Paris, most of which was spent alongside Neymar, who joined for a world record fee in the summer of 2017.
Despite arriving at a lower, though still over £100m, cost, Mbappé quickly established himself as the main man at the Parc des Princes, with rumors of friction between the pair rife.
After leaving the French club for Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal last summer, many fans would have hoped for an easing of tensions. However, Neymar seemed to reignite their dispute with his recent actions on social media.

Brazilian social media account Jogada Ensaiada posted a scathing assessment of the World Cup winner, criticizing his influence on PSG and the state he will leave the team in when he leaves.
The post was accompanied by the headline “no player should be bigger than the institution.”
“PSG, an example of football management”. The post on Instagram said. ‘They knew how to bring together the best players and they had the best team on the planet. When the team began to perform well, the ego of “a certain Frenchman” began to disturb the atmosphere.
‘Mbappé began to feel excluded, most of the team members spoke Spanish and he threatened to leave. In order not to lose his precious one, PSG began to sell those who did not agree with Mbappé’s thinking and acquired the French players he wanted.
“After doing everything possible to make everything go as he wanted, Mbappé informed PSG that he would leave the club for free at the end of the season. And in the end this is what remains at PSG.”
The opinion expressed in the post is certainly shared by many football fans, although it is a rather surprising rebuke being co-signed by a former teammate.
According to reports in Spain, Mbappé signed his contract with Madrid and reached an agreement until 2029 with the LaLiga giants.

Neymar has been seen again in the Al-Hilal gym as he prepares to return from injury
Mail Sport reported last week that Madrid are set to make Mbappe the club’s highest-earning player, surpassing the £10.3m per season they pay Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior, but the latest report claims the player will still have to take a pay cut.
Madrid will also pay a signing fee of around £85.5m and open talks over what percentage of its image rights it retains.
