Paris Saint-Germain is on the verge of tying Brazilian star Neymar to a lucrative contract extension, reports said.
Neymar. whose current eye-watering £ 600,000-a-week deal expires in the summer of 2022 has been linked with a sensational return to Barcelona over the years, but those prospects finally seem over.
According to Esporte Interativo, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo, the Brazilian star could soon put a new deal on paper at the Parc des Princes – which would be a huge boost for new boss Mauricio Pochettino.

The report claims that Neymar’s relationship with PSG’s sporting director Leonardo is now much stronger after a rough patch between the two in 2019.
Neymar was on the cusp of sealing a sensational move to former club Barcelona in the summer of 2019 after struggling to settle in Paris following his £ 198m world record deal, but Leonardo turned down any move.
PSG have now made every effort to get Neymar to sign a new deal amid ongoing uncertainty about Kylian Mbappé’s future, with Real Madrid in a circle.
The report states that PSG will be submitting their lucrative new proposal to Neymar in the coming days before making its decision final.
