And Candice and David Warner’s eldest daughter, nine-year-old Ivy, is proving that like father like son when it comes to sporting prowess.

In an Instagram Story shared by Candice on Thursday, the proud mom captured Ivy showing off her impressive tennis skills.

The budding star showed off his natural talent and agility on the court.

Ivy, along with her sisters Indi, eight, and Isla, four, previously used her own Instagram account to showcase her tennis talent with the support of her parents.

Candice is a retired professional ironwoman and surf lifesaver, while her father David is a former international cricketer and former Test vice-captain.

Candice recently told the Backstage with Cooper and Matty Johns podcast how her family life will change following her husband David’s retirement from Test cricket.

She gushed about the time David is currently able to spend with her and their children for long periods of time.

Candice admitted she felt “relieved” after his retirement, but clarified people’s expectations that David will now simply be a stay-at-home dad.

“It wasn’t a moment of sadness at all, which I think David was prepared for (I could be wrong), but definitely one of relief,” he said.

“For us it was a relief, but at the same time, that also meant a lot more cricket. People probably don’t realize that, they think ‘he’s retired from Test cricket, he’ll spend a lot more time at home’, but that’s not it. the case at all.

“This is a rarity, but then he will be gone for almost four or five months.”

David shocked the sporting world by announcing his retirement from Test and One Day International cricket in June last year.

And last year, he made the emotional decision to retire from one-day international cricket before his final Test match.
