Ashanti finally confirmed that she is expecting her first child with Nelly and revealed her engagement in a candid new interview.
The singer, 43, announced her pregnancy and engagement to Nelly in an interview with Essence.
“This new year of my life is a blessing full of love, hope and anticipation,” he explained.
“Motherhood is something I’ve been looking forward to and sharing this with my family, my fiancé and my loyal fans who have been so supportive of my career is an incredible experience.”
While this will be Ashanti’s first child, her partner, 49, shares his two adult children, Chanelle, 29, and Cornell Haynes III, 24, with his ex Channetta Valentine.
