Lewis Miley has been sidelined for several weeks after suffering a back injury while playing for the England Under-20 team.

Newcastle will wait for the results of a scan before estimating how long he will be out, but several weeks is the minimum period.

The U-20 defeated the Czech Republic U-20 3-1 on Tuesday in the Elite European League.
