A home chef is hailed as the ‘best friend ever’ for creating gourmet breakfasts and lunches, including sushi rolls, grilled chicken wraps, and homemade dumplings for her traditional boyfriend.

The woman, from New Zealand, has gained a huge following TikTok for documenting the elaborate meals she prepares for her partner every day.

She said her boyfriend works long hours, so she always makes sure his bag is filled to the brim with breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

For one of his everyday meals, she made a McDonald’s-inspired McMuffins with bacon and eggs with crunchy hash browns, homemade teriyaki chicken wing snacks with sesame seeds, and bao buns with sticky char siu pork.

“I slowly cooked the pork in the oven, adding the sauce every now and then so that the flavor continues throughout the meal,” she explained.

Another day, she made a gourmet bacon and egg sandwich with tomatoes and lettuce, topped with Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise for his breakfast.

For lunch, she made a Japanese-inspired donburi bowl with fried karaoke chicken, rice, lettuce, and shredded carrots with Kewpie mayonnaise.

She also steamed homemade dumplings and made two different dipping sauces.

In a third video, she made mini pancakes, a wrap of grilled garlic and herb chicken with a fresh salad and Kewpie mayonnaise and lots of snacks.

“He makes long hours, so snacks, snacks and more snacks to keep him going,” she explained, showing off a piece of cashews, green pea chips, cookies and chocolate.

In her latest video, she created gourmet bacon and egg muffins with lettuce and tomato, homemade banana bread, and chicken with avocado sushi.

The young woman said that she usually prepares the elaborate meals the night before, but usually gets up early to prepare the fresh foods.

‘I’m also going to work. I usually get up around 5:30 a.m. to 6 a.m. depending on how much I prepared the night before or not, ‘she said.

And as she prepares plenty of options for her boyfriend to eat, she said, “Sometimes he doesn’t eat everything, and sometimes he does — depends on how hungry he is.”

Her videos have collectively been viewed more than 570,000 times since then, with many calling her a ‘keeper’ while others begged her to make their lunch.

“He’s so lucky to have you,” one wrote, while another joked, “Yum, can you be my wife? I hope my husband doesn’t see this. ‘

While one said, “I’ve never been so jealous in my life.”

Others asked her if her friend returned the favor, to which she replied, “He helps me in other ways that make life easier, but he always shows his appreciation and love.”
