Florida authorities have released new video evidence in the Aiden Fucci murder trial, including footage claiming to show the 14-year-old walking with cheerleader Trystan Bailey the night of her murder, then running alone.
Another video revealed by the prosecution on Tuesday shows that according to investigators, Fucci’s mother, Crystal Smith, washed the blood from her son’s jeans while he was being interviewed by deputies.
Smith was charged with tampering with evidence related to Bailey’s brutal murder after Fucci’s jeans and the drain at his family’s home tested positive for blood.

The video allegedly shows Bailey and Fucci walking east to a wooded area near their St Johns after midnight on the night of the murder.
Lesa then two hours later, just before 2 a.m., the same camera shows what is supposedly Fucci running in the opposite direction.
Smith has been charged with tampering with evidence, a felony, in connection with Bailey’s murder
In another recording obtained by police from Fucci’s home, Smith, the teen’s mother, is said to go upstairs and pick up her son’s jeans, before reportedly scrubbing the blood from the camera. Fucci was being questioned by authorities at the time.
Smith was later arrested for tampering with evidence, a felony. According to documents on the jeans, there was blood on them despite attempts to clean them.
According to court records, additional evidence of blood was found in the sink at the family’s home.
The prosecution also released three Snapchat videos showing Fucci and a friend in the back of a patrol car while Bailey went missing.
“We’re having fun in that cop car,” a smiling Fucci says into the camera. He then addresses Bailey directly and says, “Tristyn if you fucking walk away…” His friend adds that Tristyn “would see this in a month.”

Bailey was Fucci’s classmate at Patriot Oaks Academy in St Johns, Florida, where she was a cheerleader
The friend said that within a month of Bailey’s murder, Fucci said he wanted to kill someone by dragging them into the woods and stabbing them.
She also said that Fucci would “take his knife and pretend to stab her with it” and that he would “make graphics of mutilated bodies.”
The friend also told detectives that Fucci often heard voices when he was angry that would tell him to kill people, the report said.
When detectives searched Fucci’s home, they discovered a notebook filled with “violent” drawings of women, including one depicting a woman with red X’s on her breasts and severed arms with blood flowing from them.
The treasure trove of documents also included an incident report about his mother telling him in a police interrogation room that Bailey’s body had been found.
According to the report, Fucci replied, “How is that my problem?”
When police searched Fucci’s home, they reportedly found Buck’s knife scabbard in his room, as well as shoes and a shirt with blood on it.

A knife found discarded in a pond near where Bailey’s body was found matched her stab wounds, according to police.
Fucci was initially arrested on charges of second-degree murder and held in a youth center the day after Bailey’s body was found.
Authorities said his DNA was found on Bailey’s body.
Prosecutors later upgraded the charge to first-degree murder.
Fucci pleaded not guilty to murder and is still incarcerated without bail. Smith was released after posting $25,000 bail. Both mother and son are due to appear in court again on September 1 for hearings pending trial.
