Hi, it’s Jay, and I’m holding the fort for Kim today, which means I get to do a trailer review. Apparently I picked a good week to take this responsibility, as there was a lot of of good trailers to choose from – it seems media companies are gearing up for a big year in movies and TV shows.

Let’s get into it right away.

Black Widow

My wife and I watched the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first part of this year, and as we progressed, we couldn’t believe that Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow didn’t have a movie of its own yet. So as you would expect, we are very curious to see Black Widow, especially afterwards the new trailer that came out Saturday.

Black Widow Debuts in theaters July 9 and on Disney Plus as a $ 30 Premiere Access title.

The suicide squad

Speaking of superhero movies (or in this case, I think antiheroes), Warner Bros. released a second trailer in front The suicide squad less than a week after the debut of the first. The film, directed by Guardians of the Universe director James Gunn is packed with a star cast including Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Idris Elba as Bloodsport and even Sylvester Stallone as a giant CGI shark man named King Shark.

The suicide squad premieres in theaters and on HBO Max on August 6.

Rick and Morty season 5

I’m just going to be completely honest here: despite Rick and Morty Since I am a constant on the internet and is also something that is totally up my alley, I have never seen a single episode and I don’t really know about it. But if you’re looking forward to season five an official trailer hit this weekThe new season will premiere on Adult Swim on June 20.
