Make way for the gigantic iPhone XS Max, the new name for what everyone has called the larger iPhone XS Plus, according to a brand new leak today.
It is said to have a gigantic 6.5-inch screen, so the Max & # 39; name matches what will become Apple's largest smartphone. It will make the iPhone XS too big, which is said to retain a familiar 5.8-inch screen.
The switch from & # 39; Plus & # 39; to & # 39; Max & # 39; comes from 9to5mac, which last week tipped us to the first official looking iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max photo.
Both the large iPhone XS Max and the normal iPhone XS are reportedly ready to launch at Apple's launch event on Wednesday, September 12. We will be there live.
Same specifications as the iPhone XS?
The idea is that the iPhone XS Max does not have many different specifications than the iPhone XS, which would be an interesting change compared to the Plus smartphones.
They are both tipped to record the faster A12 chipset from Apple and 4 GB of RAM (higher than the 3 GB in the iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus). Earlier, the Plus-sized phone would have a superior camera (OIS was exclusive for iPhone 6 Plus and 6S Plus and the dual-lens rear camera was exclusive for iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 8 Plus).
The three smaller differences in your iPhone XS vs. iPhone XS Max decision-making come down to the extra screen space, the larger battery capacity (we assume) and, in some countries, support for dual-SIM cards.
