‘Being a mom is the best and hardest thing I’ve ever done’: New mom Jesinta Franklin reveals she’s ‘finally’ ready to go back to exercise … after welcoming daughter Tullulah five months ago
More than five months after welcoming her daughter, Tullulah, Jesinta Franklin is ready to return to sports.
On Friday, the 29-year-old model spoke candidly on Instagram and admitted that she was not ready to work out so far.
“5.5 months postpartum and I am finally starting to exercise again and move my body regularly,” she began.

“Physically my body recovered very quickly from birth, but mentally I just wasn’t ready to exercise.”
Jesinta confessed that life as a new mother had left her ‘exhausted’ and that she simply had not been able to find time to exercise.
With no family support in Sydney and a little girl who hasn’t been the best sleeper, I’ve felt so exhausted for the past few months and unable to do workouts around eating, cooking, cleaning and trying to keep up with little bits of work here and there, ”she continued.

Jesinta shares a time-lapse video of her workout and said she did her first exercise on Friday morning, participating in online Pilates and ab classes.
“I look forward to building my strength and fitness so I can keep up with my daughter who is growing and gaining weight by the day,” she added.
Jesinta described motherhood as “the best and hardest” and stressed the importance of new mothers taking care of their own well-being.

“Being a mom is the best and hardest thing I’ve ever done and trying to find balance (whatever that is) is more challenging than ever,” she said.
‘I know that taking care of me is also very important so that I can be the best version of myself for my little girl. I feel like I’ve just survived the past 5.5 months and now I’m ready to thrive! ‘
Jesinta welcomed Tullulah in late February with her four-year-old husband, AFL star Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin.
