Your life in Nivalis begins with such a small food stand.
Do you remember Nivalis? German studio Ion Lands (Cloudpunk)’s next game was announced at the big Xbox/Bethesda showcase almost a year ago… and we haven’t heard much since.
Until now! Because the developers have released two new videos that give you some new insights into the extremely chic cyberpunk world.
News from the cyberpunk city of Nivalis
The developers published the two new videos at the beginning of April. In the first video you can see what the eponymous city of Nivalis looks like on a sunny afternoon:

There’s a little more to see in the second video: Here one of the developers explores the dystopian game world on foot and in the first-person perspective. And because it’s night, the cool neon signs are a whole lot prettier to look at:

– no problem, we’ll explain it to you!
As in Cloudpunk, you find yourself in the cyberpunk city of Nivalis – this time as the owner of a street food stand instead of a taxi driver. You can continue to grow your small business, upgrade delivery vehicles and equipment, and later open larger establishments like bars, clubs, and restaurants.
In addition to work, you can of course also explore the eponymous city and pursue all kinds of activities, such as shopping, eating out and going to the cinema. If following the law isn’t your thing, you can also participate in illegal races or mess with criminal gangs.
With Nivalis becoming a life sim, there’s also a lot to do around it. You can furnish and decorate your apartment, adopt pets and maybe even find love – and experience a (hopefully exciting) storyline about the mysteries and intrigues of the dystopian city.
There is currently no release date for Nivalis. However, the developers promise that there will be new information about the game sometime this year.
