Amazon is hiring a digital currency and blockchain product leader for its payments team, according to a new vacancy. First reported by Insider, the e-commerce giant is looking for an “experienced product leader to develop Amazon’s Digital Currency and Blockchain strategy and product roadmap.” The listing, which Amazon has confirmed to be legit, continues:

Amazon.com does not accept cryptocurrency as payment, but a spokesperson told spoke Insider that the company was “inspired by the innovation in the cryptocurrency space and is exploring what this might look like on Amazon.”
