Qualcomm has just announced its brand new portable chipset that will drive many new Wear OS watches, and we've also heard which devices will be used first.
The Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizion and the Montblanc Summit 2 are two of the devices that will include the new processing technology.
Both are new smart watches – we expect them to be at the top of the market, taking into account earlier iterations of the brands – and we need to learn other details, except the internal processors.
Fossil Group has also been confirmed as another partner who will be one of the first to sport the new technology, but we still have to learn which device is the first to use the new chipset.
Given that Fossil has just launched a series of new smartwatches with the Snapdragon Wear 2100, it is unlikely that we will see a watch with the new chipset before the Louis Vuitton or Montblanc put it on the market.
