Tonight, never-before-seen evidence will be shown for the first time in the murder case of Kaitlin Armstrong, the Texas yoga instructor convicted of killing a woman with whom her boyfriend had an affair.

Armstrong, 35, was convicted last year of murdering professional cyclist Moriah Wilson by an Austin jury. She was sentenced to 90 years in prison.

For the first time, the Costa Rican plastic surgeon who operated on Armstrong when she fled Austin after becoming the prime suspect in Wilson’s death will be interviewed in NBC Dateline tonight.

Armstrong underwent a nose job and a brow lift while on the run. He flew to New York City and then to Costa Rica using his sister Christie’s passport just days before the Austin Police Department issued an arrest warrant for him.

When she landed in Central America, Armstrong contacted a doctor to change her appearance, using the name Allison Paige.

Moriah Wilson (left), known as ‘Mo’, was a promising cyclist and was described as a prodigy. He met Colin Strickland, who was a celebrated cyclist in his own right. Although Strickland dated and lived with Kaitlin Armstrong, Wilson and Strickland had a sexual relationship in the fall of 2021 when Armstrong and Strickland separated.

The surgeon described her as a normal patient, except for her appearance on the day of surgery.

“He had like a hat, a hoodie, and also a mask over his face,” the doctor recalled, adding that only his eyes were visible.

The medical professional claimed to be unaware that the authorities were looking for her.

The network special, airing Friday, will also feature new video of Armstrong being questioned by Austin police and first responders rushing to save Wilson after he was shot.

Wilson, a rising star in gravel cycling, had been in a sexual relationship with Armstrong’s boyfriend, Colin Strickland, when the couple briefly split.

Strickland maintained contact with Wilson even after he and Armstrong got back together.

He changed Wilson’s contact name on his phone so Armstrong wouldn’t know they were still in contact, according to court testimony.

In May 2022, Wilson traveled to the Texas capital for a race and made plans to meet Strickland for dinner.

Armstrong followed them to the restaurant, his black Jeep captured on surveillance video circling the block while Wilson and Strickland were unaware they had been followed.

After the meal, Strickland took Wilson to her friend’s apartment, where she was staying, and left.

Surveillance video showed Armstrong arriving at a friend’s house where Wilson was staying and firing three shots, followed by Wilson screaming.

Viewers will also hear from the two US Marshals who were sent to Costa Rica to search for Armstrong while she was on the run.

Most of the evidence in the television special was shown during Armstrong’s murder trial in November in the Lone Star State; however, the judge did not allow cameras except for closing and opening statements.

Most of the footage from the show has never been seen by the public.
