A new Bridget Jones poster has revealed the difficult choice the iconic bachelorette will have to make as she deliberates between two very handsome men.
The highly anticipated fourth film Mad About The Boy sees Bridget, played by Renee Zellweger, break her four-year sexual streak with a much younger man.
The iconic character married her on-off love Mark (Colin Firth) in the third installment of the franchise before he tragically died leaving her a widow with two children.
During a trip to the park, Bridget discovers that her two children have been trapped in a tree, where she is rescued by two handsome, handsome men: The White Lotus star Leo Woodall and Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor.
And the new poster shows off the love triangle even more, as one image shows Bridget looking cozy with Chiwetel before a second photo shows Leo putting his arm around the star.

The new poster further teases the love triangle as Bridget is seen in an image looking cozy with Roxster, played by Leo Woodall, as she puts her arm around the star.
In the trailer, Bridget is encouraged to go out again and encounters Roxster (Leo), a younger, more handsome man, with whom she has “an entire night of absolutely mind-blowing sex.”
She soon finds herself in the middle of a three-way battle for her affections between the Roxster boy, the PE teacher Mr. Wallaker, played by Chiwetel, and Hugh Grant returning as the infamous Daniel Cleaver.
As the trailer progresses, Bridget’s romance with Roxster intensifies and the pair have “mind-blowing sex” after a date.
However, Bridget becomes confused as her flirtatious encounters with Mr. Wallaker increase and she eventually stumbles into a barn and finds him half naked.
The fourth installment of the acclaimed franchise is based on the book of the same name by Helen Fielding.
The most recent film, 2016’s Bridget Jones’ Baby, saw Bridget shocked when she discovered she was pregnant. She ended up marrying Mark, the high-profile lawyer for whom she had had on-again, off-again feelings throughout the three films, and revealed that he was the father of her baby.
However, in Mad About The Boy, Mark tragically dies while working abroad as a human rights lawyer, leaving Bridget a widow and the book follows her as she struggles with motherhood alone.
He also quits his TV job to do the school run, and comedic scenes are expected as he struggles to keep up with the Yummy Mummies.
In another image, Bridget, played by Renee Zellweger, was all smiles as she approached physical education teacher Mr. Wallaker (Chiwetel Ejiofor).

Fans of the franchise should also keep an eye out for a very sexy wet shirt that references Mr. Darcy when Leo’s character, Roxster, emerges from a pool after rescuing a dog.

Bridget Jones fans can also rejoice in a particularly sexy scene in which Roxster jumps into a pool in front of her to rescue a puppy, in a moment that mirrors Mr. Darcy’s iconic Pride and Prejudice appearance.
The film was officially confirmed this year, with the script written by author Helen, Abi Morgan and Dan Mazer, and Michael Morris attached to direct.
Helen was also seen on set as she prepares to say goodbye to the beloved character.

“I think it’s really hard to make movies, make them real and make them good, and we want it to be really good. But I really hope so. I would love to see it on the screen.”
There were rumors last year that the film had been canceled due to strikes by American actors, but sources said such claims were “nonsense.”

Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy will be released on Peacock in the US on February 13, 2025 and in cinemas in the UK on February 14.
The first film, Bridget Jones’s Diary, was released in 2001 and grossed £222 million at the box office, more than ten times what it cost to make.
As well as Renee and Hugh returning to their roles, fans will get to see the familiar faces of Jim Broadbent and Gemma Jones again as Bridget’s wacky parents Colin and Pamela.
Bridget’s three best friends, Sharon, Jude and Tom, also return, played respectively by Sally Phillips, Shirley Henderson and James Callis.
Sarah Solemani reprises her role from the third film, as Miranda, Bridget’s friend and news anchor on Hard News, while Emma Thompson will also appear as Doctor Rawlings once again.
After Colin Firth’s name was absent from the cast list, fans feared that his character would not appear in the fourth film at all, since his character Mark dies in the book.
However, The Mail on Sunday has revealed that Colin will still appear in the film, after revealing exclusive photos from the set last month showing Renee lovingly interacting with The King’s Speech star.
Wearing Mark’s signature suit and tie, Colin tenderly places his hand on the cheek of his co-star, who is wearing an emerald dress and leather boots.
It was revealed that Colin’s return was going to be a huge surprise, and film bosses were desperate to keep it a secret.
A source said: “Colin was always going to appear in the film, but it was supposed to be a secret.”
In the final film, Bridget Jones’s Baby in 2016, Bridget is seen attending the funeral of her other on-again, off-again love, Daniel, who is presumed dead after a plane crash, but is later found alive.
Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy premieres on Peacock in the US on February 13, 2025 and in UK cinemas on February 14.
