A Series of 10 new police body camera videos were released showing the immediate aftermath of a violent and ultimately fatal crash involving Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs in November 2021.
Videos show a devastated Ruggs, 24, sitting on the ground cradled by a woman as a man approaches authorities revealing the athlete’s identity, saying: ‘I know someone is probably there- in, but it’s Ruggs here, it’s Ruggs.”
Flaming wreckage can be seen illuminating the crash site in the background of the footage – as witnesses help police respond to how the tragic incident happened.
Ruggs pleaded guilty to felony DUI charges resulting in death and a misdemeanor charge of motor vehicle manslaughter last week telling a judge he would admit to driving while intoxicated at speeds of 156 mph.
The 24-year-old killed Tina Tintor, 23, and her dog Max after flying down Rainbow Boulevard, terminating the 23-year-old and leaving her car in a burning wreck.

In one video, police can be heard talking to another witness who described the deafening sound of the crash as it happened.
“When it flew there it ended up stopping there and the car exploded. All I heard was a big kaboom,” the man explains.
Passers-by appeared to be shaken by the tragedy, with a few seen hugging as red and blue police lights swept across the crime scene.
Videos released Thursday show no interaction with Ruggs or the woman, identified as his girlfriend Kiara Kilgo-Washington, who can be seen sitting in the road as police survey the area.
As officers coordinated road closures, loud bangs and bangs can be heard coming from Tintor’s car. Shortly after officers arrived, firefighters began to put out the fire.
“Absolutely obliterated, I mean that thing was hell when we got here,” one officer said of Tintor’s vehicle to another officer.
“As if you could feel the heat from here.”
“God knows how fast this guy was going,” another officer said in one of the body cam videos.
Meanwhile, another officer can be heard saying, “He’s done. The career is over.

Video footage that surfaced following the incident showed Ruggs sobbing on the ground after the crash near the twisted remains of his mangled Corvette.
As part of his plea deal, the 24-year-old could serve a sentence of three to 10 years and will not be eligible for probation or an appeal, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson said. 8 news now.
David Chesnoff and Richard Schonfeld, Ruggs’ attorneys, previously filed a motion in May 2022 to have the blood evidence in the case suppressed, but their request was denied.
The couple at the time argued that Metro police had “no probable reason” to take the sample because they had not provided a judge – whom they had called for a warrant – a reason why she thought the former athlete was impaired.
Transcripts obtained by the outlet revealed that the officers did not mention anything to the judge regarding Ruggs’ intoxication.
They reveal, however, that the officer told the judge that Ruggs was driving at a “high speed” and “in and out of traffic” before the crash.
“A bona fide police officer who called the judge for the warrant gave very, very few facts to support probable cause that he was intoxicated,” Wolfson said.
Had the blood evidence not been entered into evidence at trial, prosecutors would have been left with a reckless driving charge — which could have given Ruggs the chance for probation.

“A field sobriety test was not administered the night of the crash as Ruggs was taken to hospital due to his injuries,” a Metro spokesperson told the outlet.
“No legal outcome can ever restore the Tintor family. But we hope it will bring some level of closure to the family after Tina’s horrific death.
Tintor’s family released a statement through their attorney, Farhan Naqvi, last week following Ruggs’ guilty plea.
“No amount of grief will ever bring Tina and Max back, but we hope everyone learns from this preventable incident so that no other family suffers like us,” they wrote.
“We appreciate the efforts of the District Attorney’s Office to overcome the issues caused by the initial investigation, and we look forward to putting this behind us so that we can focus on honoring Tina and Max’s memory.”
Ruggs’ arrest report said he was driving 156 mph seconds before the crash. He was in the vehicle with his girlfriend Kiara Kilgo-Washington.
Tintor was driving a Toyota RAV4 with his dog Max in the back seat when Ruggs’ car slammed into the back of his SUV.
At a vigil after her death, Tintor was described by a friend as unafraid to be herself and a force to be reckoned with.
Ruggs was released by the Raiders shortly after the November 2, 2021 crash.
